Through the six years it took me to complete a three year undergrad degree in IR and SWANA studies, I have come to believe that the masses must be free to engage with knowledge. It is imperative to the development and maintenance of democratic societies. Reactionary forces have attempted to and continue to shape epistemological regimes through social and economic mechanisms. We must combat this by investigating and critiquing current regimes.

Primary interests: (1) what material & institutional forces constitute and reinforce regimes of knowledge, (2) what shapes the way an individual builds knowledge, (3) and how knowledge is dialectically negotiated amongst individuals/groups and between individuals & groups.

Secondary interests: (1) interdisciplinary approaches to understanding personal/social transformation, (2) operational and organizational strategy within radical movements, and (3) the ethics, and long-term psychosociological and material impacts of cultural production.
